It is with immense pride that we announce that Kate Mason has been awarded the Women in Agriculture Education and Training Woman of the Year award at the The National Women in Agriculture Awards 2026, and is the icing on the cake as she celebrates 40 years of working with and for Vale Training Services Ltd.

The event celebrated 13 exceptional women from across the UK farming sector during a ceremony held on 5 May at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms. Organised by Mark Allen Group and supported by sponsors including Nestlé UK & Ireland, Co-op, HSBC UK, NFU, Noble Foods, and Pig World where you can read the full report, the awards recognised outstanding contributions across the agricultural industry. 

Winners were chosen from an extremely competitive shortlist, highlighting the growing strength, influence, and visibility of women throughout the sector.

Vale Training Services Ltd, offers its clients a wide range of services and training options, and since the spring of 2015 we have also been able to offer City and Guilds Land-based (NPTC) assessments. We specialize in training and assessment to meet the smaller businesses needs, and pride our selves on being a very ethical and reliable company. We have, since our founding some 30 + years ago, trained over 30,000 delegates. The courses we offer cover Management, Health and Safety, IT, Food safety. We also deliver a wide range of Livestock, Forestry and Plant and Machinery courses and assessments. We are currently working towards becoming a Green Business. Our courses can be run either as open or in-house sessions, as well as 'one-to-one' tutorials

Our open courses are run at our unique, on farm training centre, in rural Buckinghamshire. We have been offering this service since 1982,and have a diverse client base.

The services we offer include tailor-made courses, individual training plans or 'off the peg' packages, and assessments at locations and times to suit the customer. We treat each client as an individual and design courses to meet the level and needs they require. We are also able to arrange accommodation, from a selection of near by providers.
