Driving with a Trailer DVLA Part E Driving Test

This course is for those who have passed their driving test since January, 1997 and who need to be trained to drive a vehicle (car/van) towing a trailer. This course is designed for those who need to pass the statutory additional driving test, Part E

It is with immense pride that we announce that Kate Mason has been awarded the Women in Agriculture Education and Training Woman of the Year award at the The National Women in Agriculture Awards 2026, and is the icing on the cake as she celebrates 40 years of working with and for Vale Training Services Ltd.

The event celebrated 13 exceptional women from across the UK farming sector during a ceremony held on 5 May at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms. This is a practical course and involves on road driving using the instructors equipment, it is a one to one course:

  • Safety checks on both vehicle and trailer
  • Reversing exercises
  • Braking exercises
  • Uncoupling and recoupling
